    The art somehow survived three moves,  a few years of storage where many other things suffered rodent damage, then narrowly escaped drowning here in the great dishwasher flood  of 2024. It's big for my tiny home - I was going to give up and sell it or give it away before I wrecked it. However, I finally decided GODDAMMIT, we've made it this far, we'll stick this one out together (that was perilously close to one of Stuart Smalley's affirmations, sorry).

  • The Salon: get those pictures up

    I see the last post here was over 4 years ago – and those 4 years were, um, colourful, and even more eventful than the previous 4…not even counting the pandemic. I think we’ll skip the recap 🙁 Since moving to my little crooked house in Arnprior in February 2022 (fondly referred to as the money pit most days), renovations have been aimed at getting one room at a time liveable, and my pictures out of boxes and onto the walls.  herever I’ve lived, there have been…
